The project was developed using 3DS Max to precisely model every element of the environment, from the furnishings to the surfaces and architectural details. Thanks to the use of Vray, it was possible to achieve extremely realistic lighting, with soft shadows and accurate reflections that make the scene natural and believable. Subsequently, Photoshop was employed for the post-production of the image, further enhancing the final result through color corrections, brightness and contrast adjustments, and the addition of final details.

“Lubo” by Giorgio Diritti, freely inspired by the novel “The Sower” by Mario Cavatore, delves into the persecution of minorities seeking refuge in Switzerland – a land known for its upright citizens and urban decorum. Here, between the 1930s and 1970s, the government launched a systematic assault on the nomadic Jenisch community. They executed and forcibly removed children via a national reeducation program for street kids (Hilfswerk für die Kinder der Landstrasse). These lost children were placed in orphanages, asylums, or homes where they were relegated to menial labor.
